Golden Ridge Kitchen
A No Nonsense Approach

This kitchen was beautifully transformed from bland to beautiful with just a few surface changes.  The homeowner decided to get rid of the laminate and tile counter tops and have something more natural installed.  She made a beautiful selection of Golden Ridge granite and Absolute Black for the island.  Her back splash was updated with tumbled marble and new stainless appliances were installed.  A black granite sink showcases the new Kohler faucet.

In order to make the cooking surface larger, we modified the un-used desk area to be the same height as the rest of the counter.  The mail pidgeon holes were removed and the intercom was raised.  This made the whole width usable.

We removed the boxed fluorescent lights above the island and replaced it with four can lights.  This opened up the ceiling and made the kitchen feel bigger.  With a few well thought out changes, this kitchen is beautiful.
